ok i took my carptet out today, one prob. the uposltry spray paint says to clean the stuff first. big prob here, my capet is brown, but it was grey at one point and time (like this when i bought it) so how should i go about cleaning the cracker?? i was thinking about bringing it to the laundra mat and putting it into one of the large load washers. but my friend said it might ruin the mold.

uhh i don't know, i spent all day taking my car apart to end up not being able to pait the shiz. thanks for the help

Ohhhhhhhh yeah!!!! Don't do that, Try to find some "Stoner" carpet cleaner and use that. Spray it on and rinse it and use a shop vac to suck it up them let it dry and then your ready to go.

Thats one of the reasons I painted my carpet, cause it was so damned dirty. I was too lazy to steam clean it, so I just vacuumed it and the painted it with krylon semi-gloss black paint.

But try not to mess up the mold. Anyhow, if you have the ballz to do it with the spray paint, me and you would be the only people who have done it! emoji

i painted the carpet in my trunk, and it looks good. i did it because i used the sound deadening spay paint on the trunk (looks good) so i had to paint the carpet to match it. yeah it's the poor man's way to do it, but when u ain't got the $$ to buy a whole new carpet. i'll get some pics up when i do it.

Anyone have pics of a painted carpet??? I wanna see how it looks. Damn, I'll bet u get high for a week after sitting in there. You'd have to let it air out forever wouldn't you??? I painted my lower dash, and I could barely stand it.
