My hood is in but there is a problem. The guy at the body shop said that there is a 3/4 inch gap on both sides between the hood and the fender and that it wont latch properly. I dont think that it is the right hood, I am going in the morning to look at it. Any ideas, did anyone else have these problems with the fitment of the hood.

thanks,
chris

Do you need the old factory latch? Why can't you just toss the latch and use hood pins...

your fenders are adjustable. loosen the bolts you see when you lift the hood and push them inward and then tighten them. as for it not latching...you gotta cut out the hole where the lil hook slides in the hood. it's hard to explain but lay the hood down and look under at it. a dremel tool with a cutting wheel works nicely for this.
