Not to shabby. I would add something to the surround around the Ipod though. Soemthing to dress it up a little bit. Looks very clean though.

Oh BTW, your pedal is crooked.

that was really easy, i took the bracket/shroud thing that goes around the outside of the cd player to get the position where i wanted it. Wedged some small pieces of styrofoma in between the bracket the the plastice trim piece. Then just loaded that bitch up with bondo. Filled almost the whole thing so it was nice and solid. IDK if you understand this but i will take soem pics.

just wanted to let you know...you could have mounted it straight with less structural weak spots. emoji

im also interested in pics of the process. do you just make a cutout for the HU in the stock panel and fill everything with bondo..or did you make a new panel? besides the styrafoam, how is the internal bracing attached? what did you do with the a/c/heat tubing behind there? i assume you just shreaded it and you leave the option for front air off like i did, lol.

i tried this a couple times and i wasnt pleased with the results...but i had built a whole new framework and did a totally custom job (i wanted to save the stock piece). i eventually mounted my 1/2 din EQ there and was happy.

:shhh: i do cocaine :/shhh:

i just made a cut out of the stock panel, put the head unit braket in and bondoed the crap outta it. It is solid as hell and i dont think anything will crack or stuff like that. I liek the way the crookedness lookness, gives it a unique look. Ill get pics of the install ASAP. Thanks for all the compliments. emoji
