Now that I look at the pics closely, especially the unpainted pics at the bottom, wouldn't this kit crack so easily? I can't imagine daily driving this car because the kit has to be bondoed onto the urethane stock front and rear bumpers. Bondoing to metal is okay, but we NEVER ever bondo to urethane. The stock bumpers flex, but the fiberglass pieces don't want to flex. Even with rivets, I don't think it would hold for long. Oh ya, I just remembered, I heard the girl with the red chameleon eclipse (sponsored by meguiar's) said her car is falling apart, the kit is completely coming off. I think she was blaming it on the install, but I honestly think its just not wise to bondo fiberglass to a stock urethane bumper.
Or, I guess you could just not bondo it but I think it'd look weird if it wasn't flush, blended into the body of the car. Well, if you guys are getting this kit, I think the groupbuy is a pretty good price right?

I remember when it 1st came out. They said it was a "Special Glue" used by their Florida shop. I guess the common body shop doesn't have that stuff. I always thought this kit looked good, but would never last b/c fiberglass is so rigid, and urethane is flexible. The kit would probably break itself.

urethane and fiberglass mix like muslums and bacon....
I molded an eclipse blitz to an escort and had to salvage his factory(urethane) peice to mold the upper section of it and whenever he hits shit, he's got it off, puttin more glass on it. don't they make a replica of our front end in fiberglass?

Nope they don't make a replica of a 97-99 stock front end in fiberflass. I don't think that would be popular since we all already have the urethane stock fronts...although Quwhees should have just made a replica themselves so they sell the whole thing as one piece, rather than requiring custom molding to get it on...

yeah, true that....I'd say, find a front end with a similar shape....(andy's autosport maybe)...and glass it directly to it....shit, it's wide-body, it's not supposed to be bolt on... I've got a picture of the red-chameleon eclipse on my wall here and the kit looks tight....but anybody with 1700 bones, would probably spend that on a turbo kit first...that's the postition I'm in....
