#73335, "stuck hatch lock problem"

I used my key in my girlfriend's RS trunk lock by accident, and now her key won't turn the lock. It'll move a little from side to side, but not much. My key being re-inserted also does nothing.

Any suggestions?

I found this thread but unfortunately its not much help..

Best guess is that you damaged one of the pins inside or caused a burr inside that is hanging up and will prevent the correct key from working anymore. Apart from generous spray lube and maybe a good blast of compressed air you may have to replace the lock cylinder.

they can replace the pins to make the same key work in a different lock. I had to have my drivers side lock replaced after someone too a flathead screw drive to it. so if they can do that doors im sure they can do the latch. call satan and ask em.
