#73115, "95 to 97-99 conversion"
Jun-03-04 01:27 PM by HahnRacecraftKid

Does anyone know if you could put a 97-99 eclipse style headlights and front bumper on a 95 eclipse? If possible, not having to shave down body parts or making new mounting points. If it isnt, is it possible to just switch the bumper and headlights, would switching the fenders also work?

and, are the hoods different?

Thanks, Adam Hahn

First of all: OMG!1 Search beech!
The headlights will fit but will look a little off on each light closest to the grille on the bumper.
The fender on all 95-99 2g's are identical.
You can swap bumpers too, all the mounting points are exactly the same. You can evan leave your 95-96 lights on when changing just the bumper.
My car is a 95, can yoiu tell? Hell no.

Just got a new 95 RS, with my license coming just around the corner. Summer, means the track. I can't wait.

95 RS and you're heading to the track. Mod list please. I hope your User name does your car justice.

All 2G body parts are the same except the bumpers. Headlights are different but external dimensions are no different and do not mount differently.

Adam, your Dad just told me yesterday that you picked up the RS, Congrats!

All you need is front bumper and headlights and the front is swapped over.

I'm telling you that you dont even need the headlights. Of course it will ook better but the tip of the 95 lights will just tuck in behind the bumper centerpeice. Trust me, I've done the conversion and Ive also seen people on here who left it that way. I'm not gonna search, just know that you can. Just lettin the guy know that he doesnt have to be in a hurry to buy the lights.
