thanks pitch...didnt know if anyone caught it or not. yeah, its my custom nitrous switch...iv had the idea for about a year or so. and thanks for the props. i supposed you could use it as a switch for anything...even an additional cut off switch for security. and it was cheap...like $6 at walmart..just a typical universal ignition.

EDIT: and hey, just go to mustangmods.com for free hosting. you get like 30 or so images hosted...and its all free and you can control what goes up and down. thats what im hosted from.

Did that GReddy Trust knob screw onto the stick shift directly? I've got a B&M short shifter and the thread, I am assuming, is the same as stock (I gave away my stock shift knob, so I can't test it). Anway, I had machinist take a look at the stick and it is 10MM diameter with a 1.25 pitch. I assume that's stock. The reason I ask is because I want a good knob to screw onto my short stick...

Seriously though, I hate those little plastic sleeve adapter shits that most universal knobs come with. I want a direct screw-on shift knob.

i believe MOMO and Greddy make direct screw on replacements. The stock leather shift knob is also a damn nice replacement. Its comfy, heavier, and nicer looking IMO.

no, MOMO dosent make a screw on shift knob, they all use an insert.

however, if you drill a little into the shifter part you can use the attachmen screws as a set screw and it will never move.
ive had two MOMO's and loved them both.

btw i have my phantom carbon for sale (40 shipped) if anyone wants it (all parts included)

its a screw on. screw your stock one off and screw that one in place. 10 sec job if that.

yes, its a direct screw on deal. no cheap ass plastic sleeves and set screws. very hefty (its solid) and its actually aluminum....not look-alike plastic crap. when i bought my car used...that was like the only mod on it. most places iv seen sell them anywehre from $30-50. of course machv is more expensive. and yes marc....it does get VERY hot...esp in the texas summer heat. i reccomend a sunblocker in the window, or throw a rag over it or else youll be getting 3rd degree burns when you go to shift emoji
