Ya NO MORE BLITZ hehe.. I got mine in December of 99, then got rid of it in June of 2000. That bumper is really old, I think stock looks more clean. Icjeclipse got rid of his blitz for a stock one also...

hell yes, i got mine in april of 2000 and sold it about 2 months ago, i wanted to sell it for over a year (basically right after i got it) fuck, i hate that bumper. if i could afford it i would buy 10 of them just to crash into shit with them.

I liked it, and I like it. But yeah, the overwhelming popularity made me steer clear of this one. It got played out damn fast aftr TFATF. There are so many kits out here. Why should everyone get the same one. Wha pisses me off. I live in a small town. I got my rims, now 2 other eclipses hve those same rims. Enkei katanas. Now some eclipses are saying, that front's tight, I'mma get it. I hate it. I am gonna have to sell all my shit just to say original in my area. I doubt they will actually get the same front and all. But still, the rims and saying "I want to hav my shit look just like his" How dumb can u be. A car is basically a self-expression. Express yourself, not the other guy. Sorry for the vent, but damn, you guys know what I mean.

i'm pretty much one of the few eclipses with kits in my area. Im ditching my bumper cause I didnt like it after I put it on, i dont like the blitz, and I think the sensei is a lot classier.

I'm getting the blitz, but then again, I'm the only one in my city that'll have it, so HA! lol, plus I just like the kit, not trying to imitate any other car or anything, I just like the kit that's all

It's pricey, but the only way to stay original is to piece your own kit together. Unless you have the resources to design your own which most of us regular folk don't. On my car I have the Stillen front fascia, Vis Strada F-1 side skirts (bka Blitz Type-II), and a Vis Kombat rear bumper. And then the Wings West Commando wing but that isn't really part of a kit. It's expensive buying individual pieces of kits, but atleast this way you know if any more than one person (give leeway for freak occurences ) is rockin' your kit, they're totally biting your shit. I took this route mostly because I could not find, and have yet to find, a manufactured kit that i like at all four sides. Like the Blitz for example, i try and i try but I can't bring myself to like that rear bumper. but that's just me. Also, try not to buy rims that are widely available. Research, ask stores to look at the catalogs they don't keep on the counter. I had to special order my rims because they didn't carry them, and they did not regularly order from the company. It cost a little more and the wait was a little longer, but definitely worth it. Except for the fact that now two years later some tire store has them in their front window. Wonder where they saw those? The ones they are selling are chrome though so I think my look better. Oh well, I originally saw them in an issue of Sport Compact Car about two years ago so I guess I wasn't that original either hehe.
