Looks good, and keeps trunk space. Just curious, how much is he selling them for (and for one or two)? Reason I ask is a Subie guy sells the exact same thing but it's $150 just for one custom molded into the side of the trunk. I think that's a bit pricy...

Sorry.. I was speaking for myself about that custom box by JL.. I was saying I wish it was possible to purchase it seperatley because I would do it for my car to optimize room. I am aware that the other guy has an evo. And me personally I would fork out the money to get a space saver setup like the one you linked to.

wow, that guy is bondo CRAZY. he also took possibly the hardest route for building a custom enclosure (foam base). it worries me that he didnt show any actually glassing pics, just the bondo over the top....i hope this stuff doesnt break on you. it looks good though, for what its worth. emoji

:shhh: i do cocaine :/shhh:

ya JL doesn't let you purchase it separately. you could try just buying it an selling the sub. from what i understand it sounds pretty nice though - considering the enclosure is specifically tuned for the JL W3 sub they put in it. idk how it'd sound w/ another sub.

hehe sorry for the thread-jacking emoji

that guy's custom evo enclosure is pretty sweet...
i'm always partial to enclosure that let your trunk remain functional. i can't imagine taking up my entire trunk for a massive box unless the car wasn't my daily driver. have you heard it in person yet? i would only worry about the phasing and standing waves since the subs are firing almost directly into each other.
