alright well I'm almost done with the rear bumper. I've got the reverse lights in. The only problem is wiring them. I need to know, does it matter which side the ground wire is on? The reverse lights themselves didn't come with any wires with them. So I've got the back of it, with the two small adapters for the wires, I'm just wondering so I don't mess this up. I've tried searching and I've come up with nothing. If someone could help me out that would be great! Thanks for reading.

As long as you have two separate wires it should not matter which you use for ground and +12VDC. On older lamps and housings where the reflectors were stamped metal, they often grounded to the reflectors and there would have been one wire for power and the housing would find a ground through the metal bumper or what it attached to. Normal filiment bulbs like halogens, etc. don't care about polarity when power is applied. If you had LED's installed then it makes a difference and you would have to pay attention to get the correct polarity.
