#70733, "blitz rear question"

alright, you know the blitz rear pretty well. What I was wondering is, the Blitz rear that comes with the fiber glass next to the exhuast...has anyone cut that piece out? If so how much work was it? What did you do, and what did you use to cut it and get it to look smooth. I tried searching but shit came up

You can use a hand saw a jigsaw or even a dremel if you have some time and a steady hand. I don't recommend the dremel. But anyways its not hard just measure and mark the bumper where you want it then draw the line and cut with a saw. Then sand/wetsand the edges and clean with acetone, then primer, and have it painted.

I forgot to add, but don't cut TOO much!! You start to see the bottom of the car, ugly as hell IMO.

anyone got a pic with the entire center section cut off? for lack of a better reference, the way the F&F eclipse has it. kinda curious how much of the underbody starts to show. of course if you've got a nice 3" catback and lower tie bar it might not necessarily be a bad thing... emoji

1998EclipseRS-
can you get a pic lower than that so I can see how it looks? That'd be mint. I like where your reverse lights are. Wish mine were there emoji
