does anyone here have pics to show how to replace the headliner, and or, know a place to get a new or aftermarket one?

dont replace it, simple remove it from the car. I hope you can figure that out its really simple

now get about 2-3 yards of some cheap felt, any color you want.. you can use bed sheets (myke used them after I told him how to do this)

get some really good high temp spray adhesive (it better be HIGH TEMP or once the car heats up its going to droop..

just cut a piece that overlaps the headliner

spray a area of the thing with adhevsive, then spray the other side of the felt.. let sit for about a minute. Then join them together and smooth it out

now do little areas at a time, and keep covering up the headliner...

then just get a razor and cut out the areas where holes are, cut to the corners so you can fold it back and glue it to the back

when you get the edges, dont cut them too short leave enough so you can wrap it around the back and glue it down really good

then bam you have some new new headliner

Did mine before in black velour with "Talon" letters stiched in.

I put the diamond in my headliner. I just put some padding in it to stick out.

I took my headliner out and took it to a person who does apolstry. They match the color and put a new 1 on for under $100. I think it's 2 big of a headache to do it yourself, especially if u don't have any experience, but that's just my opion on it.

i redid mine myself too. i COMPLETELY redid mine though - not jsut gluing an additional sheet over the existing material. as the headliner material gets old the foam backing deteriorates and causes the top layer of material to sag and no longer be connected to the cardboard backing. when this happens you need to actually pull off the old material and scrape off all the bits of deteriorating foam. then you need to buy headliner material (the type with about 1/4" foam backing). from there you jsut follow the same steps in the writeups. most've the guys that have redone their headliers did it to change colors so they could just glue a new thin layer to the existing headliner material. mine was actually falling apart and needed to be replaced

on a side note headliner material can be a bit expensive. i forget how much but it's significantly higher than the equivalent amount of regular material or bed sheets or whatever you would use if you're just covering your existing headliner. and you'll need 2 yards (they usually sell them by the yard and 1 is NOT enough).
