ok this has to be one of the/if not the heaviest exterior part of our car, the doors are fairly heavy to, but I give it to the hatch, I'm sure alot of it is b/c of the glass, but anyways, does anyone know of a way to lighten it drastically? Alex (eclipsedchef) and I were workin on his car at a local garage and they had some car that a stock fiberglass hood, thing was light as fuck, like 6lbs easily, it was unreal how light it was. I was thinking of some way or company that could either fiberglass/carbonfiber/or any other light material that would make these bitches alot lighter and help w/ everyone who has the fucked up struts that hold it up only to fall on your head. Any ideas? thanks
