#70197, "wow.. wheel gap"

I started to put my rims on and...

Waaayyyy too much wheel gap. Those are 17s. I think I'll just leave the stock ones on until I get it lowered. What do you think?

i dont think the wheelgap looks that much different from stock? put um on...

if you cant afford to get springs/struts now, just buy some springs from adventon.com (prokits 180, teins 120) put those on.... and then just get some struts withing the next few months.

i thought you were talking about my car for a minute... nice wheels though!!!! emoji

i take it you have 215/45/17's? mine don't look too bad, 225/45/17

it's all in the tire size, and that just helps it from looking too goofy... oh, did you get hubcentric rings for those? since you have the same exact wheels as i do, what size are those rings? i really need some!!!!

so nice looking... everything... I personally think that those 5+'s look awesome on our cars!!! hubcentric rings are NEEDED with these wheels, I say that even though I don't have any... I have to drive at least 80+ to find a discount tire to go get some... without those rings the wheels tend to shake a bit... maybe mine are off balance? who knows....

good luck with all of that..

pretty nice wheels and the car looks good as well. the way i see it, you have wheel gap no matter which wheels are on so you may as well leave the new rims on. no sense letting them sit and collect dust because you are worrying about the wheel gap that was already there. just my .02 cents.

If you have shake/vibration then yes you might have a balance issue. Hubcentric rings are only to help in threading the lugs when the rim is set over the wheel studs. My rims came with the plastic rings as well and I just pitched them. A little plastic ring has no effect on load dispersement, balance, etc. Do not worry if you do not have them bro.

wrong... theres a difference between hubcentric and lugcentric wheels. that little plastic ring, thought it may seem insignificant, is actually somewhat important. you can drive without them without problems, but without them the wheel doesnt sit on the hub the way it's supposed to, that can cause vibrations that you'd normally associate with a bad balance job. it'd probably be a good idea to get some, but if you're not feeling any vibrations i wouldnt worry about it too much.

Do0d. The way the light is blending in all over the curves of your car there is amazing. So sultry. So shexy. Nice job. I'd say drop it, but you're already knee deep in that shit so, I'll say you should do a Photoshop drop imo. It's what I did. emoji

Ack, you make me so jealous. That's exactly how I want my car to look (minus the rims). I love the color, turbo spoiler, oem skirts and the GST exhaust..../me nuts in pants.
