This is regarding my Town Car. I went to the junkyard the other day, and I found a real nice interior for my Town Car. My TC is a 94. I saw like a 96 or 97 there, which had the updated interior.

The interior I saw is completely black. Almost perfect leather seats, wood trim, etc. My stock interior is tan. I realy wouldn't mind swapping the WHOLE interior out.

The exterior of my car is black. I was aiming for a black exterior, with tan roof and lower accents, and tan/gold pinstripping. I think the tan interior looks real nice, but I need to retire the old seats, this is why I am asking.

Do you think I should keep the older tan interior (replace it with a tan interior of the same year), or get the new updated black interior?

I'm a sucker for a black interior personally, so my vote goes for that.

The black leather seats that I saw wasn't the smooth, soft type. It was decently soft, but really grainy type (like the thick kind).
