I thought of this and i don't know if anyone else has brought it up. I am thinking about trying it, but it will hafta be strictly show because it is definately illegal. Ok first off take the lenses off a set of altezza's ( we all know the heat gun trick) and the housing of clear taillights, and silicone the altezza lens onto the housing if the clears. This would make completely clear tails, just like our headlights. Do you guys think it's possible? Also does anyone have a set of altezza's or clears that are messed up that they're willing to give me to try this out, if i pay shipping?

hey glad to see someone else agrees with me. i suggested this about a month ago and everyone acted like i was stupid..."whats the point"???
well the point is like you said all clears. i didnt get any replies letting me know if the housings and lenses were intergchangeable, so id just get a cheap set of clears and try it.

Hey what about just having altezzas, and then popping off the red lenses? Would that make it completely clear in the back, and you wouldn't have to buy another set of clear tails??

I thought of that, but if you pop out the lenses you still have the circles sticking out where the lenses were know what i'm saying? If you use the clear housing it would look smoother. I think i'm gonna check ebay for some used lights and try this.

hmm... I wouldn't do it but its just my opinion. Because If you've seen the housing of stock tails, Its not chrome, its more of a dull aluminum finish. So you might wanna think about that. But yeah Post some pictures if any of you do it.

My friend used the back of the clear center with the euro front part. It worked. I assume it can be done, but u would want some of those light bulb condoms to keep the bulbs red for street use.

if you buy a set of clears, just make your $$ back by selling the altezza backs with the clear's lenses....I'm sure someone would buy em and they can't look too bad....

the all clears would be sweet....but only on some cars.
