#69339, "projectors on a talon...?"

ok...so 97-98 talons have 95-96 headlights...

so ive heard all i need to do it takes the front cover off my headlights, and put it on the projectors. now if i do this.. will the headlights seal properly? or do they just look good on the outside, but they are not sealed.

ive also heard there are projectors by APC for 95-96 style eclipse that fit properly?

has anyone actually done either of these options?

Yea somebody does or at least did make 95-96 projectors, if I find the link or have it at home I'll post it up later. If they're still available I'd say that's definately the best way to go.

changing the covers wont fit on the projectors, the projectors (if 97+ style) are shorter than the 95-96 headlights. If you put projectors on with 95/6 bumper, there will be a gap between the light and the bumper.

can anyone verify this..... as in, theyve done or tried it.

cos ive heard over and over that the front lense off a 95-96 style stock light, will fit perfectly over the 97-99 projector assembly(with the lense taken off)

i checked APC's website, and nopi... neither have projectors for 96 style lights

the rear housing (projector housing) is shorter than the lens from the 95-96 lights. so therefore the lens will be longer than the housing.

IMO, the best route to take would be to find an old set of headlights that are the right size and then hack them, install aftermarket projectors (as in driving lights) and reseal it. I didn't like the output of the gen1 projectors at all. They sucked imo. emoji

gen 1 projectors suck...if you go the projector route grab the new dual ones...They use stock bulbs as opposed to the ghey ones that put out jack shit for light.
