I am planning to get this Talon that I have my eye on (trading plus cash my ESi). How could I check if it has frame damage? Looks it hit a truck, light enough so not much of it is out of whack, but the radiator support is damaged. How would I check for frame damage, where exactly does the actual frame begin (where the radiator support connects to the rest of the body)?

I looked at the price for one, and its about $160, plus shipping.

The radiator support is welded on, correct? Its a few spot welds, correct? I was reading in a Honda board, about how this guy drilled some holes in the JDM front radiator support (for a JDM conversion) and he mounted it on to his car. He said it holds up very good (if not better than the few spot welds they had before).

I need some info quick... I'm going to check it out in person tomorrow.

as long as the radiator support isnt touching the header there shouldnt be frame damage. if the header is touching the radiator support odds are the accident hit the engine and moved all the components backwards and warped the frame
