What color is my car? The body tag under the hood has been missing since I got it so I need the color code. Hopefully my picture will work.

So its not Sorrento Red Pearl -PO3? I figured it was just Sorrento Red, but you know since the tag was missing I wasn't too sure.

Ok here is a slightly newer/clearer picture I took. Just ignore the fact that the door doesn't match the rest of the car at the moment. But yeah I'm gonna have to agree with you ont he color.

I really wish this info would have been posted about 2 weeks ago. I searched and couldn't find the right code, so I guessed between R71 and R87, sure enough, I picked the wrong one. Now I have to pay to get my '99 bumper repainted the right color. Damnit, wasted money. I really hate how you can't read the tag on the firewall.

You could call the dealership w/ your vin and they can tell you your color code.

Did you buy one of those pre-painted bumpers off of ebay too? I bought some nice halo projectors off ebay, already have them took like 2 days to get here. And I bought a 97-99 pre-painted bumper cuz I don't feel like getting the whole car painted just yet.

the paint prob wont match 100% because of the paint fade of your original paint...

No, I didn't buy the ebay bumper. I heard those aren't that great in quality but I'm not positive about that (I also wanted the embedded triple diamond). But I did take my '95 bumper in to the guy who's doing the painting, he takes the fading into consideration and is going to tint the R87 slightly so it matches the rest of the body better. I also got the dual projection, non-halo, black headlights to go with it.

Well I don't think my car is faded bad at all so I'm hoping it won't be a noticable difference. I just bought a billet grill too. This of course is temporary until I get a paint job.

Ok I got my new bumper, headlights, billet grill, etc. Installed all of it today, tell me what you think. Sorry about the crappy pics but thats the best my phone can do.







You can see the little dent on the fender on that last pic. I'll take care of that when I really paint it.

No doubt, but I you know I didn't want to start a new thread since this was about color code and all, and how I ordered that bumper prepainted and gave them that color code. Anyway it matches pretty damn good, my car is faded very little. So it doesn't stand out or anything.
