I searched the site, as well as the web, and I found quite a few negative comments about HID kits from misterjung.com. I had to return the Hanabi kit I ordered from Bruce's (missing power harness to the ballasts). I'm still trying to find a good quality kit for about $5-600. I found one at xenonfactory.com , and was wondering if anyone has a kit that is neither Hanabi, or misterjung. Xenon Factory's kit comes with a harness to bypass the stock headlight wiring. I'm new at this conversion kit stuff, and am looking for some good advice. Thanks in advance!!

i say just get a replacement from bruce. it was probly just a fluke. my kit is awesome. you wont regret it!

I got my HID converson from misterjung.com a lil over a year ago.... I have had no problems with the kit. They shiped fast to ND. I have been running them ever since with zero problems. decent price and trully plug and play. I havent seem other conversion kits so I am not sure how they compare to say the brucespeed kits, but from personal expeirnce I have been very happy with the misterjung kit.

I can vouch for misterjung. I spent like 349 dollars on a kit from him and I had no problems whatsoever. totally would have been plug and play but I have projectors so some slight fitting was necessary, but this had nothing to do with the kit. They have been in use on my car for about a year now with zero problems.

if good quality hid kit is what ur looking, get the Philips 6000K Ultinon Kit. They are proven to be one of the best hid kit on the market.

Most of the low priced hid kits uses Korean bulbs, but that dosen't mean they're crap or will burn-out in 2 weeks. I myself have a Korean kit(Eaglite) and it's been used for 2 years now with zero problem.

I actually bought some used misterjung hid bulbs from ebay cuz I want to switch to the "purple" look, the bulbs have been working fine. The good thing about the Misterjung kit is they used Hella ballasts.

I've had a Global Premier kit since last summer and use them as daytime running lamps as well so they're on whenever the engine is running. Very nice kit and truely plug-and-play. It all fit under the stock covers with one hole drilled in the cover center using the supplied weather grommet for the wires.

I used the 9006 kit in stock housings and am very happy with the beam pattern now that I openned up the housings and fine tuned the reflectors to get rid of some upward glare. I aimed them a little lower than my old halogens just to be safe. Still plenty of light on the road in front. Never been flashed by oncoming traffic and I spent a lot of time in the local mall parking lot to be sure I wasn't blinding anyone.

Note: I have found that aftermarket (stock appearing) housings are way inferior in beam patterns even though they might look like an excellent replacement. If you don't have FACTORY stock housings you (and the cars you are driving towards) might not be happy with the excess light they throw out.

In this pic you can just see the ballast mounted on the left frame rail (Blue housing with yellow sticker). This kit uses a separate ballast and starter but it works out just fine for me.

where did you get the global premier kit from and how much?

Will, is the Philips Ultinon kit similar to this: http://www.xenonfactory.com/products/hid/philips.htm This is the kit I'm thinking of ordering (6000K). It's the only place I've been able to find that refers to the 6000K bulbs as 'Ultinon". I like the fact that the bulbs have a molded base from Polarion Lighting. And a 3yr warranty on ALL components is pretty sweet, IMO.
