I am glad to hear that you would be painting them because that would be very ugly otherwise. Maybe you can just find some cf z3 inserts? I know they make the inserts in fiberglass, but not sure about cf. But they would be cheaper than a whole fender for sure.

the kid with the red eclipse that has them got them off nopi. i'm not a fan of the z3 style althought getting them painted the way you said sounds cool just leaving the fins cf. the weird thing is the z3's are cheaper ($163 each i believe) then the oem cf replacements. if i were to get cf replacements i don't think i'd bother gettin them painted seems like such a waste, just my .02

I got my z3 fenders off of ebay and they came in today. They looked good and were light as hell. I wanted CF, but i decided the regular fiberglass ones would look better on my car. I payed $189 total shipped to my house for both of them. But nopi has them for $430 or somewhere around there, i believe. Or you can go to andyautosport and get them for $719, but i think they are actually carbon fiber and not fiberglass with carbon fiber overlay.

450 + paint as well... in my opinion not worth it for the look you want- if it was cheaper i would say definitely do it! keep your eyes out for some deals.

I might be able to make you some CF inserts that you could simply mold into the metal fender. Thats what I did with my car but I made mine out of regular fiberglass. Let me know if you would be interested.
