Just another project I thought That I might share with you. Let me know what you think. I know people were doing the 2 1/6 guages, But I wanted to do a small tach that faces me. I dont really care for the 5" monter tach.

took out the vent and sanded it then cut out a piece of fiber board about 1/8 thick then the hole for the gauge, I then glued it to the vent and laid the carbon fiber down and resin. Then another layer of resin for smoothing. did a little wet sanding then clear coated it.

Very nice looking,

One question though,

Isn't the stock tach, like waay easier to read than that little one?

yeah but the stock tach in my car is off by quite a bit. so I am going to use this for tuning and also looks. I will mount a shift lite in the dash flush mounted. One of the quik-lite mini led ones.
