Okay, my Ebay projector headlights has a bulb out on the main lights. I took out the bulb but how the hell do i get it out of the actual metal socket??!! Plus what kind of bulb do i get...man this sucks.

The bulbs are H3 type. All you have to do is release the spring arm on the back of the housing, take out the bulb and disconnect it. there's no metal socket that the bulb comes out of.

Depends on what kind you've got in there. I've got PIAA Platinums that I got at a custom truck shop. If you've got the ones that came with the fixtures, you should be able to go to any automotive shop (NAPA, Pep Boys, etc.) and pick up a bulb. Most driving/fog lights use these same bulbs, Walmart probably even carries 'em.

Well, about the bulb, does the new ones come with the whole wire connector? Or do u take the bulb out of the metal socket kinda of thing in that pic u showed me?
So how good r ur projectors running on the Zeta System? I know a lot of peeps are asking about it, speak up bro

Ya the new one comes with the wire like in that pic he posted. H3 is weird - it's the only size that uses that, others go in a plastic socket. You can get bulbs anywhere online. If you want the Hiper H3 High wattage plasma xenon bulbs I can get it to you for $25 shipped...

I haven't put the system in yet. It's not really a plug-n-play for our cars. The system is based off of a fuse system where you have 4 fuses for the headlights (2 high, 2 low). We don't have that. We have one 40 amp fuse for our entire headlight system, which goes to a relay, and then goes to the bulbs. In order for our cars to fully use the system, you need to splice in-line blade fuse holders into the positive wire leading to the bulb past the relay. The entire system is plugged in by a blade fuse connector.
To fully use the system means that when you have your low beams on with or without the fog lights the Zeta system works. When you use your brights, the Zeta system shuts down and goes into your normal headlight output through your low beams. When you switch back to low beams the Zeta system turns on about 1-2 seconds after the lows are switched back. The salesperson that I talked to also stated that the life of a bulb will be reduced by 20%.
There's also the issue of heat generated by the system. the manual says that "If you have resin headlight housings or double lens construction headlamp assemblies it is advisable to ask the manufacturer about how much heat their housings can take to make a determination as to whether you can use the CATZ ZETA system at all." :o.
Does anyone know if the projector housings are made of resin?
Are projectors classified as double lens construction because of the projector lens and the clear housing on the outside? If anyone knows please let me know ASAP. I'd like to install this thing this weekend, and I don't really want to find out the hard way. Thanks.

Uhh I would never install the catz zeta system in aftermarket projector headlights. Almost all projector headlights use cheaper materials than OEM, that's why a pair of projectors costs less than 1 stock OEM headlight. You really have to be careful on the heat, because a lot of headlights can't take the extra heat. But I "think" that HID systems should not generate too much heat because they are more efficient right? So maybe you have nothing to worry about... all I know is that JDM type r headlights will not take any excessive heat at all, the lens inside pops off and gets loose from the heat melting the glue. Those headlights are almost 1000 bucks, yet they can't even take a little extra heat...
