sure it might be cheaper to get one off ebay though. Body work is not cheap plus paint. They will prob make a fiberglass patch and bond it then sand the hell out of it. My guess is around 300. It might be more or less depending where you live.

Fiberglass and bondo do not go well with urethane. It WILL crack again eventually. Just get a new stock bumper. We never repair an actual crack in a urethane bumper. It sounds too big to be repaired easily and reliably...

I just got mine fixed yesterday. Mine was underneath that black plastic shield next to the foglight(damn curb). It's a pretty long vertical crack that runs all the way to the bottom of the bumper. I am pretty happy with the result, no way you can tell the bumper's been cracked b4. Whether it'll crack again, we'll see.

Hey Will, did they repaint your entire bumper? How much did it cost? I think Walmart and auto shops do have a kit to fix it, but we generally don't do that - longterm reliability is kinda "iffy" because urethane flexes a lot, so we turn away customers that have cracked urethane body kits they wanted repaired...

I've had mine fixed before. I think they have kits that fix it. Talk to your local shop.. most the time you can get used bumper cheaper then getting the old one fixed. It's up to you, your wallet. ...lata..

eclipse804 -- they fixed the crack and painted the whole front bumper, they also painted my passenger side skirt and door cap. I paid a total of $300. My friend knows the owner of the body shop, so I don't know, is that a pretty good deal or not?

Ya that's a pretty good deal. They probably didn't paint the whole bumper but actually blended it, and then clear coated the whole thing, which is the smart thing to do so the blend is better matched. Back in the day, when I had a blitz front installed, repainted 2 doors, one fender, and one side skirt, and rear center piece tailight, it cost me about 650 using all PPG paint. That was a good deal to me since insurance paid me 600 just to fix the fender and repaint the fender and front bumper...
