I guess this could go in the Handling/Suspension section also but i figured it would get more of a response here. Anyways, those little plastic lid things that cover the struts..After i installed a bar back there the lid was pretty much impossible to reinstall. Ive seen custom carbon fiber ones, but my question is if anyone has cut holes in their stock ones to make them fit? Any opinions or pictures would be appreciated..tia

when I get around to buying strut bars, I'm going to cut a hole in the tower covers. You could probly do it with a dremel, shouldn't take long. Just measure it out and cut.

You can see the holes that I had to cut for the bar. I accidentally made the holes to big, but still came out pretty good. Around the hole, I just ran some black wire loom and it gave it a finished look.

I tried cutting the stock ones but they came out bad so I bought these and cut them....don't worry about the marking lines you see....thats being sanded and painted black anyway.
