What are the brightes headlight bulbs for our cars? I don't want to convert them to HID, so I need something cheap. I want the brightest, bluest bulb on the market for us. Does anyone know. I see some 5500K bulbs on eBay for us. Are they any good emoji

Sylvania Silverstars. I converted mine about 2 months ago. They are $25 a bulb I think.

I've got PIAA Platinums and absolutely love them. I've never had Siverstars so I can't tell you which is brighter.

If you don't want to get HID, then I'm going to have to say get the silverstar bulbs. They aren't blue though, they give off a white light.

I have the silverstars. But I was wondering if anything was brighter. My cousin did something called a 9005 conversion using a silverstar bulb on his integra. Has anyone done this? I believe its where you use a high beam bulb as a low beam emoji

If you're going to do a conversion you might wanna look into getting the Phillips high end bulbs. They're H3s I think. If you search there's a post that compares the different bulbs and the Phillips were the best but they aren't 9006.

Its something Integras do. I think they use a high beam bulb (9005), shave it to fit, and put it in a low-beam socket. But I need confirmation.
