No offense, but it is not my style. DTM only looks good on German cars IMO. But as long as you are happy, that is all that matters.

HEY you stole my muffler! hahaa, naw, its all good. it does sound good dosent it? just dosent look all that great IMO (and i can say it cuz i own one!). thats why im ditching it for an APEX N1 asap. its very deep and throaty in the low rpm's and gives a menacing growl from 2-4k. very rich sound, with only a touch of raspiness in the high end.

edit DTM = dual tip muffler

I just didn't want a straight n1 style muffler. too much like the one I put on my G/f civic. I just wanted a different look than everyone else in town. All I've had were compliments on how it sounded and looked. but other than that. I'm happy with it!

My honest opinion. It looks like shit.
I have only seen ONE dual tip muffler look good and it was on a vw. They can look good, but def. need to sit deeper in and have the tips showing at the end of the bumper. Not sticking out 5 inches.
Again, you and your car kick ass. But imo that muffler is fugly.

The tip is literally 1" away from my rear bumper.I didn't want to burn or melt the paint. In the first place, I thought it would look good because of the way the tips come up, so does the bumper. I still love it more than any other style. I wanted it to look different. It's exactly how I wanted it cause I put it there. If I wanted a fartcan I woulda bought one. Thanks though for all the righteous comments!

DTM is that style of muffler. It stands for "Deutsche Tourenwagen Meisterschaft" which roughly translates to "German Touring-car Championship". So basically it's German and really should only be on a German car. But that is just my opinion!

Noooooooooooooooo!!! emoji. Just kidding man, I've always liked those dual-tipped mufflers. I dunno if this is possible, but if you could get the tips to not stick out as far I think that it would look a little bit better. emoji

My friend had a dual tip on his Probe that barely went past the bumper. Don't think he had any heat problems but his Probe was white and he'd have carbon buildup if he didn't wash it regularly.

trust me guys, you really cant get that thing any more inward than what it really is. it was designed to stick out a little. youd understand if you owned one. its not quite as simple as just mashing it back. might i suggest drilling holes at the bottom of each bend of the tip, that way water doesnt accumulate, it is free to drain.

Eh...I dont like it...there's only one I've ever seen that I liked it was a split exhaust the dual squared mufflers like that he had a kombat rear bumper at the time and it looked pretty good, sounded nice too, but mine was alot deeper tone and louder emoji

Not a fan of the big upward pointing dual tip thing. OBX made a muffler with 2 2.5 or 3" tips that pointed straight out and were basically like a bigger GS-T style muffler that sounded really good (for a 4 banger) and looked great. But whatever you like man, its your ride.

i think its sortof cool. how exactly did you do your dual exhaust? is it just split after the cat? how much was that and was it hard to do?
the muffler tips arent my cup of tea, but thats just because i like the big fat rocket mufflers... dont know why i just do.

i defenitely wanna do a dual exhaust though..... just wish i had 6 or 8 cylinders for there to be a purpose cuz i think it makes the car look and sound muscula emoji

glad you like it man.

its not a true dual setup. your stock single exhaust pipe runs into a muffler, and the muffler just has 2 outlets.

yea it's really sounding different over time.....now it's got a little bit of a radpy tone high in the RPM'S. Still a far cry from a civic's sound.
