OK I really need to change the color of my carpets because I am doing the dash the same color as my car. The silver hue. Both of you mentioned that you painting and dying. How did each work and how did you do it. It is running me a pretty penny for the paint and so I would like to try to save a little on the carpet. If I must I will buy the new molded but would rather spend that money on something else, like saving for my turbo.... Thanks in advance....

I just used 2.50 Krylon Semi-Gloss Black Paint. I finally got enough balls to just spray it on there to see how it would do, and it surprised the shit out of me. The only thing it you got to take the carpet actually out of the car. Which mean you have to remove the door jambs, seats, and anyother panel restricting the carpet, like the center console and such. Its actually not all that hard to do. Just takes a little time and pateince.

I dyed my floormats, not the interior carpet.

You might try them. I know they have black leather interiors-so Im thinking the carpet would be black. Not sure how much ther would charge you tho.

Well if you do find the dealer has them. Install it yourself and before you order them, when u take out your old carpet, just test the spray paint out and see how it works. Then decided if u want to spend money on a whole new carpet.
