#64629, "round 2 of vandalism"

well im come home from school today, go to my friends then i had to drop a movie off at blockbuster, by this time its dark i drop it off and walking back to my car i see a mark like some1 rubbed the dust off of my hood, so i look closer and hear there is a long crack in the clear coat and top carbon layer, for those of u who have a vis oem its in the front mid section where its kinda flimsy, it look like some1 pushed or jumped on it or threw something against it, cuz there is a little flakes in the clear coat then a very long crack goes up and down from there with it y' off where the chip is, I know it just happened at school n some1 must have done it becuz how the dust was wiped off the crack it looks like they wanted to see what they did. When will my luck get better, do u think insurance will cover this.???TIA for listening to my sob story

Sorry man, that really sucks. If it makes you feel any better, I've had some dickhead key my fender on the driver's side, and some asshole kick a dent below the driver's side door.

As far as insurance, it'll depend on your coverage. Who do you have and what coverages?

Well if it makes you feel any better, i came out a movie theater one night to find all 4 of my tires slashed (which ran about 190 a piece), they spraypainted all over the hood, busted out my driver window, and busted out my projector headlights. I have geico and they paid for it, but it all depends on what company you have. Good luck

call the cops and have them print the hood, you never know..they could have the persons prints on file. I know when i was in kindergarden, my entire class was printed at the local police station..we were on a "field trip" If you can still do this i would. Full coverage insurance should cover the hood, just depends on the company i guess.

Sorry about your hood man. I dunno about insurance covering it though because its an "aftermarket" part. When my cf hood flew up on me and smashed, then wouldn't cover the hood because of it being aftermarket. But who knows, I guess it just really depends on your insurance provider.

some insurance companys will cover aftermarket parts as long as you keep receipts and have pics of them on the car. you may have to actually tell the company that you want aftermarket coverage and how much as well. normally, it isnt too much of a raping to add it.

Sorry to hear that. I'm more concerned right now about hooking up my interior because where I live there are too many fucking ignorant pieces of shit around. My Bro came down from PA and we went to a pool hall....we come out, and someone ripped/busted the wing off of his truck...Not too many trucks look good w/ wings...but it was a nice fiberglass one contoured to fit his truck. They broke off the center section and they even took it with them!! It was pointless. I was at the library yesterday and some asshole with an SUV parked a foot away from my car and rubbed the paint off my passenger door...I could have keyed it, but I don't do shit like that. Hope all goes smoothly getting everything fixed!
