VIS Racing makes a stock looking CF hood...most all companies that make CF hoods should have ones that look stock, hump and all, just gotta look around, and make sure to pay close attention to 3 magical lil letters, OEM, usually they'll make sure to tell you if they hood is OEM style or something else(invader, xtreme gt, etc..)

how come they don't really make a lot of black hood pins? most've the ones i've seen come in chrome or like red or blue or something... i mean most people don't wanna put on the pins b/c of how they look an how they stand out so wouldn't it make them a lot less noticeable if there black? hehe or even wrapped in CF?

I'm sure that you could paint the pins black. Anyway, VIS oem hood is sweet. That's what I have. And get mo fuggin' hood pins!!!

yeah dont buy a fiber images hood they are fuckin dicks. I had one completely come un glued and delam on the freeway. Lets just say 3000 dollars later and a GTP hood with pins and bleeding butthole the car is running. They told me to fuck off even though it was under there warranty. It was cool though. Blue carbon even.

I've got the VIS stock hood, i got mine from www.improvmotorsports.com they had the cheapest price that i saw online (365 for the hood and 125 for shipping). As far as hood pins go, ive had my hood on for about 6 months now and nothing has gone wrong yet...... (ie, flying up while driving) But for your own safety get pins.

It's alright. I talked to them today, they said that they'd ship it monday at the latest. Sucks though because my cars been in the shop for 3 weeks and now its going to be in there 2 more weeks because they wont let me take it without installing the hood. Anyway improv definitly had some good prices, and they're good people to work with IMO
