#6430, "Antenna Relocation?"

If i go wingless on my eclipse, i am going have to weld all my wing holes, and i think the antenna is going to be really ugly without a wing to hind/disguise it, so i will want to shave my antenna. Are there any antennas they can go in my car or on my rear window or something? How much do these cost?

Check out the antennas from a company called Fuba... they're sleek and have a euro look to them... real nice. Sorry, I don't have a link but I'm guessing a Yahoo search should send you in the right way.

There are antenna amplifier products out there. A lot of cars with aftermarket head units don't even need the antenna to get reception if their fm sensitivity is good. Maybe your's doesn't even really need an antenna? But ya, I would definitely shave it since its basically free if you're already shaving the wing holes next to it...

Dakota Digital www.dakotadigital.com has one that is a small black box. It is about the size of your index finger. You mount it to the glass (says windshield, but can be any window) and no more out side antenna! emoji

My rear window already has an antenna built in. I want to get an FM amplifier and use that instead of my regular antenna. Then when I get some other body work done, maybe get that shaved.
