Could you use foglights as 97-99 style reverse lights? If so, what size would you need?

Why would you want to do that? Just go to ebay and get some brand new reverse lights for like $46.

^^^^Thats my point. I would like to see better when I go into reverse. So if someone could go outside and get me the measurements of the lights I would be willing to give some points away for the helpfullness.

as far as getting it to look nice it might be easier to keep the reverse light housing. the just get a harness for a diff. type bulbs and ghetto right it to stay in the housing. idk if you'd have problems w/ other kinda ligths bein too hot though. haha orginally i wanted to put an extra set of hiper white low beam bulbs i had back there (since i converted to HID's up front). that's be pretty bright i think... dont' wanna melt the housing though.

i don't really think you would have to worry about melting the housing unless you are taking trips to teh mall in reverse..I would imagine that with the amount if time you would spend in reverse nuthin would get hot enough to melt harnesses, or anything else for that matter emoji

as far as the measurements they're kinda irrelevent if you're gonna be putting in some fog lights. they won't fit. you will be modding your bumper. use whatever size you think looks good. i don't think there are any fogs that will bolt up to the holes made for the reverse lights. i still think the easiest way to go would be to keep the 97-99 reverse light housing and just get whichever type bulbs you wanna use to stay in there.
