Alrighty, I just bought a nice 5.6 LCD right, It powers up and I get the last picture they last owner must of had, some cartoon crap, any way, after that it fades to white. WTF? the LCD is the type you need to make the enclosure(I already made it, it fits in the glove box, looks sweet!) and there are 4 wires, +, -, And the 2 for the vidio in. Anybody have a clue?

Well, it almost seems you got a messed up LCD Screen. The is the last thing on there a video or a still image? If it is a still image, the image is burned into the LCD Screen, and yes that is possible to do. So that is all you can do, you really cant get the image off. For the turning white part, that is the LCD shutting off, you will notice this in some Digi Cams, that the screen will turn white when it is being turned off.

Mikee is right. If there is NO signal going into the LCD, but it still shows an image, that past image has been burned onto the screen, so its basically dead. It sounds like its not working since there should be no image at all if you are not sending a signal to it...

There is no Image at all, its just white, i know what a burnd image looks like, and its not burned on. Well, the person said it worked when they tested it, so it must got Fuked durn shiping, so the insurance on the shipping will get it fixed.

Just take it somewhere and get it tested. Also, I know a lot about video setups, however, why would there be 2 video wires? It should be one RCA input, unless it works different. But I still dont understand why there must be 2. Sorry for my ignorance, but just worked for 2yrs at Best Buy in the video dept and never ran into anything like that.

Good luck with the insurance. Things like this can be kinda frustrating if they want proof. What company shipped it? UPS is a pain to deal with...
But when you said: >>I get the last picture they last owner must of had>>
That sounds like its dead because it shouldn't have any image at all. It can't just "remember" the last thing that was played on it, unless it was burned on I think...good luck
