hey i wanted to take my stock head light open them up and paint the inside chrome part black .has anyone done this? or is it even doable? any advice from anyone would be helpful.

YES. It is do-able and people have done it. Try using the search. If what you wanna find out doesnt come up, then ask again. I am sure that there was a write-up done a little while back. Not that hard, but it does take a little time to do it right, so you dont have condensation problems afterwards.
And yes you can do it...I've done it...make sure you seal it back on good though because I didn't and now its beginning to fog up in lines inside; planning to redo them...so goodluck on them
