I vote for the first one. My question to you is why are you so dead set on having no less than 225 width? Wider tires do not necessarily mean better handling. You need to take into account the wheel size and match that to the corresponding proper tire size. If 225's are a good fit for the wheel width then go for it.

I'm assuming you're going with a 17x7 or 18x7? 225 won't be a problem. Not necessarily better for handling... the man is turbocharged and I'm thinking a wider contact patch will do better for launches. That's like asking me if I'd like to go up to a 285. Of course I would, then I wouldn't spin thru 1st and half of 2nd on my 245s.
