I'm trying to get some idea as to how much should it cost... so I won't get ripped off. I've huge ass crack accross my windshield.. gotta get it fixed soon. Thanks in advance.

I'm still running around with a cracked windshield from bass. I got 3 estimates about 2 months ago, Lee & Cates wanted $365, the junkyard wanted $200 for the windshield, and another $150 to put it in. I forget the other place I called, didn't write it down on this paper, but they wanted $380 to do it. I don't know where you're at, but this is in FL. Here, if you have full coverage insurance, it's free. Hope this helps.

ive went threw 2 and about to go threw a 3rd, 200-225 every time, aftermarket ppgs, and thas installed.

i paid $170 installed for smoked glass with aftermarket sealent

bucknutty, got a pic ofo that smoked windshield, im getting one put in a week or two, had to replace because of metal shavings from the welder(roll cage) , i was gonna do 15% tint on the hole windshield,but if smoked is dark enough for my taste, this might be the way to go.

Usually you can repair cracks up to 6 inches long, and almost any chip. For this type of service it will cost you about $45.
