When I went from my 95-96 to the 97-99 headlights I noticed that my beam pattern changed..the 95-96 had a pretty far reaching pattern. Now my headlights on;y reach like 15ft and abruptly stop..like something is blocking it...like a half circle. I adjusted the lights on a level surface and still get this problem. Any ideas? thanks

Maybe the bulb isn't mounted correctly? Try taking the bulb out and back in, just don't touch the glass part.

The best advice I can give is to buy Sylvania Xtravision bulbs, adjust them accordingly and buy a good pair of driving lights. Dont waste your time with blue bulbs because they will simply melt your wiring harness and will create headaches for you.

I have a set of PIAAs..I might try to see if it's the bulbs by switching them to stock. Has anyone tried that Headlight Mod?

yeah, i noticed the same problem with my new 97 conversion. the light just stops abruptly, and mine are foggin up. with my 95s they never turned color, or fogged up, even since i just cleared them out last year. but my new 97s i dont like all that much. and to who asked about the headlight mod. the one with putting a high beam in your low beam. it can be done, and it does not melt your wires, but i dont see a big difference because there are the diffusers in front of the light anyways. so in my opinion, dont waste your 15 min tryin to do it. go rub one out instead, it will be more gratifying in the end... emoji

theyre fogged because of moisture. take them apart, blow dry them and seal em back up.

the light beams can be adjusted with a little adjuster screw thingy on the back of the headlights. use the manual if u dont know what im talkin about
