What can i use to mold fiberglass parts onto urethane? I know it can be done, IE: farmdoggs rear skirts. Name some good brands and product names. Thanks

i dont know what the body shop used, sorry. but i can say that the two have held up perfectly so far even going from cold to warm weather. i ran over the corner of a curb and the bottom of the rear skirt hit when my tire came off the curb and i thought my skirt was done for...but no cracks, spiderwebs, or anything. alot of shops dont like to do it i guess though.

If you sand down the urethene part with rougly 80 grit sandparer in the location where you want the two molded and lay down some fiberglass over that it will hold just fine.

you can also drill several small (1/8") holes in the urethane where it meets the FG. the glass will sink through the holes and help to anchor it. you could even add a rear layer to form a sandwitch of sorts.

of course, you up the risk of cracking the FG by doing this, as if the urethane gets twisted, it will transfer that energy over to the FG better because it is attached so firmly.
