You can unplug it in the trunk also. If you remove the panel that gives you access to the rear light assembly you should be able to snake you hand right over to the antenna assembly. I just replaced mine with a new power antenna a few months back and it is easier to access it there. There should be 3 wires... ground, 12V constant, and a trigger wire or 12V switched. Make sure you cut the trigger wire and not the 12V constant and make sure you tape or cap the loose ends.

Why is everyone so damn lazy and want to cut shit.. Unscrew the panels in the trunk (takes 3-5 minutes not even) you will see one small plug from the body connected to another that is connected to the antenna. just unplug it.. its mounted rite on the metal bracket.. thats it.. finished... your done... dont go cuttin shit you could need it later.

all u have to do is tape the wires back together but i just didnt want to take out the panel. i reached through where my tail light is but found too many wires didnt want to cut the wrong thing so i havent messed with it much yet. hopefully ill be able to find something to get rid of it tomorrow tho. are you talking unscrewing the trunk lid? its already gone. my subs knocked all of the bolts holding it to the top of the car so it went bye bye. ill try to find the plug tomorrow tho as i have to put on my short ram, wires, blue hoses, tail lights, new bulbs, etc. im tired of crap laying around my house im going to finally get out and put some stuff on my car emoji
