Is there any high temp paint that is brushable so I can paint the letters on the valve cover? Does it have to be high temp paint or will any paint do? I would think it needs to be high temp. Any help would be great, thanks Rob

I painted my calipers today with dupli-color engine enamel. Anyway, my post is, i missed a few spots when i was taping them off (didn't feel like taking the calipers off) and i hate leaving spots unpainted so i took a plastic cup and sprayed some into the cup so it pooled at the bottom, then i just used a q-tip and dipped it in, it went on smooth, so i'm sure this would work for a valve cover.
P.S. i suggest using a metal cup or something cuz the paint ate throught the plastic one.

Ford dark blue. It's the closest i could find to my interior blue. Looks real good, i'm doing the drums this weekend. Deze 96' RS IM: Deze2g "Friends don't let friends drive stock." http://www.angelfire.com/geek/dezeclipse

Yeah, I painted my letters red with the 500 degree high temp paint from Trak Auto. Used a Q-tip and brushed it on there, the edges of the letters should be easy to do since its an edge and the paint will bleed around it. In fact its a lot easier to do it with a qtip than anything else.
Also, after your paint dries, try putting some armor all on the valve cover itself. Mine is black (not sure about everyone elses) and ive put the armor all on there a month ago, and its still on there, makes the valve cover really stick out.
