Tried to search but no luck. Does anyone have any write ups on the install for a eclipse? Just curious about this and trying to see if they are that hard to install. Thanks

most tracks won't let you run if you have your door handles shaved. the track near me lets me run because i have a secret popper on the outside of the car somewhere. it all depends on the track.

It's really not that complicated. I'm in the process of shaving my handles at the shop right now.

Is there any type of security for your "Hidden button"? Can you wire in a "On/Off" switch so nobody can open the doors unless you pushed a "unlock" button? IF I were ever to do this, I wouldn't want anyone opening my doors. I know people aren't stupid and if they see shaved handels and they want something in your car, or the whole car itself, they will look around to find the "hidden button" and I don't think anyone wants that. Is there any way to do it with like a keychain remote to "unlock" the button and be able to just open the door with the remote by itself?

If you have an aftermarket alarm you can wire it up so that you turn on an auxilary channel which serves as the ground for the hidden switch and then press the hidden switch. Kind of like having 2 buttons to press instead of one. Or you can have two switches in series so that first you switch one on and then you go switch the other one on. However, there are so many places you can hide the switch that I wouldn't worry about it. You can put it inside youre wheel well, under the car, behind the front bumper, the possibilities are endless.

my alarm still uses the original poppers for the LOCKS, but the celenoids control the door poppers to actually open the door....therefore my alarm has to be deactivated and doors have to be unlocked for my remote or my emergency secret button to open the door

ya I already thought of that emoji

furthermore, i wired a hotwire so if my battery is dead and I dont feel like getting in through the trunk I can jumpstart my car/door with it to get inside.

Just to let you know -- if you shave your door handles you can not run your car on the track...

I'm sorry, but I just realized that I was just very rude and unhelpful. Here's the writeup.

1) Don't.

That's it, really. Just use your arm muscles to open the fqn door.
