OK guys the girlfriend said she would buy me a carbon fiber hood for christmas. I recently bought a aerogear hood but it didnt fit on my car very good(wouldent close) I think it was because of the star turbokit. I wana know which company makes a quality hood that will fit like stock and which hoods will work with the turbo kit. I was looking for an extractor hood to keep the heat out of the engine compartment. Let me know what you guys think.

I got the VIS hood also and I'm very happy w/ it. Only problem is my car doesn't like me and I got bad luck so I already got a decent amount of cracks on the hood from rocks hit it. Sucks and correct me if Im wrong but Im pretty sure you cant buff or wax a cf hood cause it has no clear coat right? Buffing or waxing might take out the scratches but friends have told me not to. -Dave EDIT: nice gf btw al my gf ever bought me we were clothes. Nice clothes but car parts would be tight and a cf hood is a pretty big present IMO.

Dualgen2, Yeah my girl is awsome. We have been together for about 2 1/2 years now. I am trying to teach her car stuff and she learns a little. Some people met her at the last NJ meet. About the hood I think I am going wiht the VIS now I haven heard any negative comments about them yet. Now it is just a matter of which one. Im leaning toward the evo one bacause it dosent seem like many people have it. The invader is nice too. Does any one else who is boosted ave problems wiht under hood temps? That is why I am leaning towards the extractor type.

Pick whatever style you want, but get a VIS I'm happy with mine. The gap between hood and fenders on mine is pretty decent but I could care less..it looks so sweet.
