Some kits will come with a "needle remover" which iss basically a plastic fork, which I've known some people to use. Some kits also will not require the needles to be removed.

All the indiglo's i've ever seen just went right over the needles. Mine were real easy to install, except i can't read japanese so i didn't know which wire to splice into. There is an install for them on the main 2gnt page under mods. Deze 96' RS IM: Deze2g "Friends don't let friends drive stock." http://www.angelfire.com/geek/dezeclipse

Yeah, tap into the parking light, that way anytime you turn your parking and regular lights on they come on. At first mine were connected to the regular headlight wire, and when i turned on my high beams the guages shut off.
