#5959, "Shift knob for us AUTOMATIC heads..."

Anyone know where I can find an automatic tranny shift knob that fits our cars? I hear everyone has problems with the O/D button, or lack thereof. I'm specifically looking for a pistol grip type shifter, or something like a fighter jet grip... Anyone?

The nicest looking auto shifters I've seen are made by Levoc. You should be able to find them by doing a search on the net. (I don't remember the site address I saw them at)

Here's mine. I've posted up about this shift knob about 10 times, so im not getting into detail. If you want to know what it is ask me then i'll say. I'll just tell you this, it was made for a toyota/nissan and i hadta mod it quite a bit.

OK i'll tell. It's a levoc hybrid for toyota/nissan (they come in chrome, chrome/black, chrome/carbon, chrome/wood, and chrome/pearl white. As you can see it's gonna have chrome in it no matter what. You can find link to some vendors off the naploex/levoc site. The address is http://www.napolex.com I paid around $90 for mine. If anyone orders it let me know and i'll tell you what you need to do to get it to fit. Good luck.

I know I want the Razo Gungrip. I think you would like it. it's got fighter jet styling and has an OD button. I thought about getting it and putting on a shift boot on the auto. emoji

Yeah for some reason all the o/d shift knobs only have 2 wires, one for the transmission, and one for the ground. Our stock knobs have trans, ground, and the dash light. I just spliced the transmission and dash light wires together, it works. You might wanna do this cuz i had my light covered with my old bezel and it sucks not knowing if it's on or not. I mean you can tell sometimes, but it's easier with the light.
