Well Steve, you probably didn't use the search, so I'll point you in the right direction. Go to the search and look for "headlight clearing." You will find many posts. Some as recent as this week!

There is an excellent write-up on it around here you don't want to miss. It will make everything perfectly clear. Even that turn signal lens! emoji

When I did mine, I used a hi temp primer and glass black paint, followed by a hi-temp clear coat. On your car, maybe you could find a sort of gunmetal color for them. I know run4cvr here in Phoenix has been wanting to go that route on his copper eclipse. If not gunmetal, then certainly black imo.

Just take your time and make sure you've read the instructions several times before you go sticking your headlights in the oven! emoji

i dont think high temp is really necessary..... its not going to get that hot up there..... i used regular rustoleum(sp) and havent had any problems..... be careful how you set your lights in the oven though....both of my covers for the balance thing melted....dont know how though..... i would suggest using primer, make sure you clean off any finger prints or anything before you paint....hope it all works out...
