#58175, "HID conversion Kit Question"

I am planning to get a set of HID conversion kit. Do you guys know which one is good? I heard that PHILIPS 6000K is quite good.......... I am driving 97 GST.......
under the hook, there is a plastic cap (mine is gray in color) to cover the light bulb .... so, if I get the conversion kit, how to pass the wire ?

Thanks a lot !

well, i would recommend the hanabi 8000k kit. i have it. they are awesome! the grey cap gets a hole cut in it and there is a bushing type thing that goes through it. at least that is how my hanabi kit works. plus, it is direct plug n play. emoji

don't know how true this is but i heard that aftermarket companies aren't selling aftermarket HID's due to a new federal law that makes them illegeal to sell aftermarket......

the hanobi kit i though was 350$ and it is good,

philips was the ones who invented HID and have the best quality ballasts...(that i know of )

when did that law come into factor? ive seen them being sold recently so i dunno what the deal with that is...

Bill

You can have it cheap, fast or good. Pick any two.

If you want it cheap and fast, it's not going to be good.
If you want it cheap and good, it's not going to be fast.

Aftermarket HID kits have always been illegal to use on the road. To be legal you need proper HID housings and headlight washers.

I haven't heard of any law that makes it illegal to sell.

I have Hella HIDs and Hella Bixenon projectors molded into my headlights. Looks sooooooooooo sweet.

The higher the temperature, the shadier the car.

The cops will pull you over for fun if your HIDs look blue.

That's why i have the stock BMW's setup. I like the white look better anyway. Its more incog and styley. MOre high class and less gangster.

If you have APC projectors, ain't nothin gonna help them.

That's why I upgraded to BMW BiXenon projectors and molded them in myself. BiXenon's are the biggest projectors and give off the most light. (plus it give you High/Low HID light. You can bright someone with your HIDs. Look it up at my website.)

Anyone in the NYC crew will back that my lights are the brightest they've ever seen.

BTW...mine are the 4300K kit and I love them.

FYI...the lower the temp the brighter the lights.
the only reason why higher temp look brighter is because the blue is irritating to the eye, but the lumens are less.

My friends are always like..."who's that asshole tailing us with the bright lights." Then they remember my eclipse and realize its me. I love it.
