Has anyone else tried to take apart the marker lights that go in the bumper? I just bought some of those new euro ones and planned on painting the inside black to match my headlights or maroon to match the car... well.. they didnt come apart! I just got them in the mail today and I baked them too long. F#*k! I still want some w/ a clear lense and black or maroon housing though! ANY IDEAS? Was anyone else successfull at getting them apart?

Hahhahahha...I was trying to do the same thing.
At least now I know not to bake them.
I was thinking about cutting off the lenses with a dremel and then siliconing them back on. I know it sounds like a lot of effort...but like you, i want the black inside too.
Let me know if ya get any easier ideas.

My boy and I had the same problem with his corner lights on his accord a few years ago before they came out with black corners. We baked a set in the oven and messed them all up. So we cut right under where the lens met the plastic housing, took them apart, then resealed them with silicon. Turned out really good and they didn't get any condensation. Should work the same with the bumper lights.
