#57689, "Rear Defroster + Battery Light = Me Worried"

The other day it was raining and the windows were fogging up so I had the rear defroster on and it took so much juice that my battery light came on when I was at a stop light and I had to shift into neutral and rev to 2500 or so to make my voltmeter rise above 12V.

Has anyone else noticed the HUGE drag the defroster has on the electrical system, I dont know if it is normal or not but winter is cocming up and IF I can't use that defroster it is going to be a bitch of a winter here.

My insurance payment is WHAT now?!?
