Hey guys, I know this has been discussed before but I cant seem to find the post. Wanting to know what you guys did to polish the outside of the intake manifold. I have a spare mani and a dremel and I started to grind away at the sand casting with one of the lil tan grinding stone things... just wantin to know if I'm headin down the right path here. It's starting to look better, but damn is it time consuming. Would post pics but no digicam yet

Same kinda question for the exhaust manifold heat shield. I remember seeing a post with a guy that had a cordless drill and wire brush attachment on there. Do you clean it up with the wire brush then buff with a metal polish? Thanks a bunch

Thanks Bill, I've seen the flap wheels but I'm not quite sure what the tape rolls are? Anyone have an idea how many flappers it would take to square this thing away? I have no idea how long those last.
