Ok fella's. I bought some of that RIT dye at Wal Mart today, red and black and are going to do the backseats. It lists three methods to use, but it says you have to basically have the fabric off the seats. Is there a way i could mix it with boiling hot water in some sort of spray bottle or anything? I need help from someone that has experience with this stuff, thanks.

dye usually takes a while to set in thats why they usually soak it

if you take off the hog clips you can take off the fabric but good look trying to dye just a small section

r u using on both front and back? if yes, save ur time and buy front seat covers and wrap your back seat in velvet or seude...

thats what i did, i used black velvet on my rear seat and i'm buying leather (like) seat covers for the front...

just an openion though... if u realy wanna do this then be warned that the rit dye does rub off on clothes and sneakers... my honda friend rit died his carpet and my white shoes turned red emoji i was very pissed off cuz they were fairly new and expensive shoes....

either way good luck.

I've got front seat covers, im only doing the back seats, like anyone sets back there anyway or acually could fit lol. So i dont guess it will matter. Imma go try it on the bottom part of the back seats, and see what happens. I'll post pics when im done emoji
